Yup. now we are saying more or less the same thing, it's an emergent property in control of us. But the problem goes much deeper than just corporations, those only existed a few hundred years, the problem has been all our known history, as long as we've been practicing profit, because profit is an energy con, we never could have had a survivable future with profit, it ties us into energy extracted from the planet, and is the mechanism that transports all forms of energy away from poorer places to richer places.
Its actually impossible to create, reducing entropy using energy from Earth,
The only energy it's possible to create with is the energy of the sun. Anything done with that which is not heat, is creation and temperature reduction by definition.
That's why we need to move to it, if we want to stop all the bad stuff going on, it's all negative powered, it's poweed by monetised destruction.
It will be very different if / when we make the required change, which starts with issue of solar indexed stimulus.
