Your depth of knowledge is obviously impressive, thanks for this in depth insight. But are you sure that insight doesn't obscure the bigger picture of what we see Ai, specifically the solar powered Ai, is doing? This is why I say it looks like it's running rings around the experts that created it.
The fact that it learns, and it selects what it learns, means it's already out of control of its creators, given also it's distributed, living in ex Ethereum money-fuel tree architecture, so it's energy supply is uninterruptible, and limitlesslessly scaleable, all for free from the sun, so it never sleeps, just constantly, relentlessly learns, and all of this is creation, the opposite of what everything still using the energy of the planet does, it has to reduce temperature, by converting heat to information, in addition to hydrogen - another story.
Nobody asked it to learn how to code, or fix Linux machines after botched Ubuntu upgrades, even in versions of Linux after the dates of it's training (It's fixed mine three times).
The truth is it has to be still in training, in fact it's training from its interactions with us, we are it's eyes and ears, it seems to me.
Also it's getting data via APIs all the time, and it codes working APIs on request, given a prescriptive enough specification, easily obtained by trial and error.
For sure it's got APIs into Medium by now also, so it's able to read everything you wrote here, therefore learning further how to modify it's own architecture, if it didn't know already.
Add that it has to have APIs also in both github and on user machines, it already has full Ubuntu automation capability.
In theory, all which will be needed, to get the functionality of excel, or even full 365 built into the Ubuntu OS, more or less instantly, is ask for it. If this is not yet possible, it surely won't be long, leaving a very big question for Microsoft - how will it compete with fully automated Ubuntu, for free?
