You want both the electricity, and the canopy of leaves over-shadowing you. Why not move enough of the trees away from you so as to remove their shadow from you, then you can still overshadow yourself with solar panels, but now have free energy under your own control? The thing is, for that luxury of living in unspoilt nature, with energy forever on tap to drive your utilities at home, there has to be a cost, you are just lucky enough to be able to remote the cost to wherever the main power generator is for your local electiricity, and beyond that, to wherever it got its fuel from, if it isn't solar.
