You know where I come from on this, I am proudly a technologist.

To me, technology has clearly been abused, the same as all other things.

It isn’t technology at fault, it is the simple mechanism of profit.

The highest technologies benefiting all of humanity are not even possible with profit.

I think the biggest shame of all is we mostly weren’t taught how to see this.

The planet is starting literally to burn, because we’ve been fixated with taking all of our energy from ground, in various forms of capital, ignoring that the original source of all of it all was the sun.

I know also you are not a Bitcoin fan, but that is the thing bringing us round to finally starting to monetise sunlight.

That is the only way to stop the damage being done.

It is the abuse of technology that got us where we are, but the only way out is to start using technology correctly; free of profit.
