You have obviously put some thought into the challenge, thanks for posting.
Things will change a lot when we hook up fully to the power supply of nature, the sun, I think.
To do that our economics must change, to reflect how nature actually works, money has to come to represent the energy of the sun, and I believe it will, very shortly.
When we do that, we might start to notice a pollution get-out clause, that is when we create directly from the energy of the sun, we create "clean" products, with which is associated no pollution, like you say, nature has no waste, we can become the same. A good example is green hydrogen from solar. That functionally replaces fossil fuel with none of the pollution either in its creation or consumption.
It is remarkable that fuel we created ourselves from solar energy burns with similar effect as trees “breathing” normally in the environment, we can even breathe the "exhaust" fumes directly ourselves, and even better, it is all for free, after we’ve “grown” the infrastructure to receive it.
