You contradict yourself, as you said, you take exception to the legitimacy of the state of Israel being questioned. But you say you would like to see the end of all states. Is that the end of all states except Israel?
Way I see it is that what Israel is doing is unacceptable. it has already blown all chances of legitimacy. It can't be allowed to continue to exist, after the deed of genocide is done, otherwise the rules of humanity are all broken, we are handing ourselves over to be ruled by Israel, the same way as it ruled Palestine, by genocide. If we let it happen to the Palestinians, with all our eyes on events unfolding, then we are inviting it to happen to us too. Niemoller said it perfectly.
Genocide is an illness that spreads rapidly. What we are seeing makes the "Victory" of the second world war pointless, it even impacts the way we feel about the holocaust, it's an insult to the war effort against the Nazis.
Netanyahu is insane, every bit as insane as Hitler ever was, maybe even more so, Hitler at least didn't try to use biblical argument (Palestinians as the Amelek) to try to justify genocide.
Thankfully most folk of the Jewish faith who are not part of the Israeli government seem to be distancing themselves, from all possibilities of being tarred with the same brush as those leading the Israeli government.
You might be an exception, choosing to liken what might hapoen to Israel as something done against all Jews. It's your choice to do that, it isn't something most non Jewish folk would do, because we know you won't ally yourselves with genocide, surely.
I don't see how Israel can recover, given what has been done already.
