Just one tiny quibble I have; please stop calling them renewable energies, you are a scientist, you should be using completely accurate terminology which fully exposes the financial implications - there is no such thing as renewable energy, it all comes from the sun, for free.
By exposing that, we get quickest to the conclusion that far from adoption of it being expensive, it will be incredibly rewarding, and the actual ROIs, if we can still define such things are actually a tiny fraction of what those in power are currently claiming them to be.
I think a new term should be defined, characterising what happened when JP Morgan removed funding from Nikolai Tesla for his infinite free power and internet connectivity project, 120 odd years ago.
