Yes but its more than oil, its everything we consume, the energy in the food we eat is included. I guess you eat food :)
The money you make or made to buy that food, it came from profit (Unless you already live from donations), even the work we do to get the money to buy the food, when money makes money or when a little energy is expended as work, and we get more energy back in the form of money, this is energy gained by profit, but energy can't be created or destroyed, only pushed around (This is how colonialism and energy slavery works) - energy is taken from poor places, in the form of food which is paid for by us with money that has less energy in it than the food has in it, so we gain the energy from the poorer places and poorer people, the money we give to them in return for the food, or as loans, never gives more energy to them than we take from them by the mechanism of profit, which is a kind of dishonesty that we never think about, because we don't mostly know about energy, but this is how it is abused by all business of profit, and the destruction done to the planet by everyone forced like this to do the destruction, clearing rainforests etc, is what heats the planet, because all that nature removed, does not convert the energy of the sun to anything other than heat, we see the planetary temperature going up, its all related to the amount of profit made. Sorry its complex, of course it is, otherwise we would have known all of this before now, yes?
As said, the instant antidote, is issue of free money, indexed to the amount of solar energy actually being used, this will incentivse and empower all people to move completely to solar, we can and will replace all fuel taken from the planet with hydrogen fuel, which converts also to emergency food, (See "Solein"), as well as all plants and greenery lost in the past, this is the only way to stop doing the damage, and to start winding the temperature back down.
All businesses, alll governments, all people have to become solar powered communities, with the ability to produce hydrogen fuel, so that by producing more fuel, we use more sunlight, and we get paid more rewards for using more sunlight when all issue of money is indexed to solar, its all win win, literally we will have moved from destroying, to creating, cooling the planet instead of heating it.
