Yes, but, as hopefully you know, the climate problem is intimately related to the economic problem, climate disaster is manifesting also as economic disaster, for the reasons I've outlined in my stories... as long as the system keeps hurting, no-one can fix their pain, it seems to me. As long as those being crushed, consumed, and wounded by the forces of greater might, of course they, and everyone related to them are going to feel pain. So maybe what you are pointing out could be interpreted as a catch-22 type situation, maybe you believe a good system can't come about, until everyone heals their wounds, but how can they do that, if the wounding carries on? How does it sound to someone who has lost everything, and is sitting in the street wondering where their next meal will come from, or if the next passerby might just swing a kick at them, to just heal themselves? If I might say (gently), your reference to certain types you've been involved with indicates you yourself might have emotional pain that you maybe feel you have fixed, but if you had truly fixed it, you would not be categorising folk for yourself to avoid, by comparing them to folk you've known previously, at least not just by what they might "Work" at, or have worked as.
As I see it, those of us advocating for system change (To me there is only one that will work), need to somehow convince those still in power, to make the system changes needed.
Maybe they need to change themselves to be able to see that? I don't know, maybe.
