Yep. Thanks for posting, he was a fascinating figure who I find myself inspired by, recognising some similar signs of visual thinking a long time ago. And he was defunded, from his project that he intended to deliver free energy and Internet like connectivity to everyone more than 120 years ago, by his only funder, JP Morgan, setting us on a course for two world wars and counting, nuclear weapons and counting, losing countless unknown geniuses in the wars and famines, as well as everyone who died from what were arguably unnatural causes, due to immortality research not happening.
We could have had not only everything good we see now like the internet etc, but in addition virtually none of the bad, and been travelling optionally to the stars from a healthy Earth with Tesla, all the lost geniuses, and even JP Morgan himself, had the latter not been eaten up by his own greed.
The trouble now is we have become so conditioned to the profit driven dystopia we are living in now, to have almost lost sight of how different things could be, if we could just shake off the obsession with profit and energy by extraction.
Personally I think the natural course of events should have been that we made the switch back then, from the relatively limited extracted energy of our planet to the unlimited energy of the sun. That would have been the birth of our species, from dependence on the energy of our mother host, to the energy of her environment, like the birth of anything.
As it is we are now seriously overdue being born as a species, we are like a baby still living from umbilical that kept growing to way over the energy requirement sustainable by our mother, poisoned by the greedy mindset of JP Morgan, we are actually in a much more dire situation than even the scientists focused on "Renewables" can understand.
The only energy that can get us out of this mess is solar, but it can't be had by money as debt, it has to be money issued for free.
I think Tesla knew all of this, but agreed, after he was made destitute, to keep all his thoughts private in return for a nice room in an upmarket hotel for life, hence why he created hundreds of patents, to keep it all hushed up.
I am putting all my faith in Ai being on the right side in all of this.
I think it is our only hope of making the switch needed to avoid imminent existential disaster.
