Yep, thanks for posting. A couple of further points you missed are firstly that reversible hydrogen fuel cell technology removes the need for batteries and any rare elements, whilst at the same time provides hydrogen fuel production from solar which functionally replaces fossil fuels with none of the pollution, either in production or consumption.
Secondly the effect of generating proof of work cryptocurrency from solar is to monetise sunlight, which has very profound implications on the financial economy. That is the real reason we should guess capitalism does not like solar, effectively the energy is free, and inevitably has to be issued for free, since by nature solar energy collection has to be distributed around the world, because it makes no sense to have it centralised.
In the end, the sun is the only actual source of energy. All capital sources are actually only fuels which are forms of stored energy, it all came from the sun originally. So we have to connect to it, but by doing so, all capital becomes devalued.
