Yep, but the same techniqiues of trying to control it as used previously won't work this time.
Never before was there an increasing shortage of practically usable fuel, together with a growing abundance of solar energy being put to use.
So no matter what the money does, we are in process of switching to solar, driven by nature, because in the end, solar is the only true source of energy.
We should know this by knowing solar adds Joules to the existing Joules of Earth, whether we like it or not, it is pushed to us for free.
So solar dilutes the energy capital of Earth.
Since money representing capital represents energy capital; when the energy capital is physically diluted, it follows that money representing capital alone, is money increasingly coming to represent the wrong thing, since capital is increasingly not the thing of value, it is the energy coming in which is the thing of value.
This is the real, physical reason we are seeing seemingly unstoppable inflation.
What this means is acceptance of free energy, whether it is charged for or not, dilutes all capital, no matter how much manipulation is done with money.
The only thing that can be done with money now, to redeem its value in markets, is to change what it represents, from capital to the free energy of solar which is coming in.
That means forgetting about a gold standard, but instead putting a number of Joules on each token of money issued.
This is the only way to balance up money with the physical solar product being received and put to use, per the principles of Austrian Economics, so it is the only way to have any chance of preserving the value of the dollar in markets.
The same goes for all countries, the actual solar product being put to use in all countries is scaling up, like the energy flow in a tree growing from the point it sprouts leaves. The first currencies to do this will see the highest values reflected in markets.
Further, the part conventional (capitalist) economists are really struggling to come to terms with; money has to be issued for free to all people, to accurately and honestly represent the value of the solar energy coming in; tens of GW in each and every country.
The illusion of the power of capital is finally ending, it seems to me, driven by nature, no way round.
She holds all the aces in every game, and has us at check in the game of capitalism vs nature, with one move to mate, it seems to me.
We are in process of moving from capitalism, to energyism, driven by the solid physics of nature, and the end result is gonna be pretty cool, as far as I can see. But there might be a lot more pain to getting there, all down to banks, when will they acknowledge the end of capital, and start to issue endless stimulus representing the solar energy being put to use, is the only question remaining, it seems to me.
