Yay, Long live authority.
It always has to end in tears as long as there are punitive rules that result in blocks / bars, more than might exist if we just cover our ears (we only need to be able to block who we choose to block from our own ears, nothing more).
Nobody actually knows right and wrong, the whole truth about right and wrong are things that need to be thrashed out by the crowd, and they are dynamic, changing all the time. No human knows the future, so no human should be setting rules to cut down or carve up a Network.
Metcalfes law should be elevated to statutory, and the platform should be powered by solar energy so as to be energy independent, whilst also removing it from the need to make profit by taking subscription fees.
I described how to do that in the money-fuel tree story, in Medium. But the for profit algos always block it, shadow ban it, so you've probably never seen it.
Hey ho.
