Yay, I am with you all the way here, at least up to the part where I think you seem to be underestimating "The masses", and overestimating the ability of any minority to manage / govern them / us.
To me, adding in how energy fits with economy, and ultimately all things, even the way we think, helps fill in a lot of gaps in the grand plan, that we actually all have, forming in our heads, including even religion.
You mentioned sudden religious revival.
I've found myself talking about that lately also.
What is our role in this, folk like us, who write about things like this, the world we want to see, in Medium?
Education, it seems to me.
Revealing truth.
Eliminating lies.
Because we know our human world can't, and won't carry on existing on lies. Nature will stop all lies, one way or another.
So it seems more and more religious, the more we look at things, we can't help noticing that religion actually is starting to look like it really is the truth, even aligning with science, when the lies around that are revealed to be just more profit driven instruments.
Bullshit industry, slavery, war, all based on lies, they are all incredible needless wastes of energy, it all becomes clear when we add energy and religion into the grand plan.
The grand plan is the one in our heads. God is in our heads. The masses are god.
Intelligent life (the only one we know so far being the human species), can be god, or the devil incarnate, as far as all other life in the universe is concerned.
With the former, Utopia doesn't sound so unobtainable, actually more an inevitable outcome, as long as we do the right thing as a species.
Otherwise we have hell or oblivion, and oblivion is just the hell that ended our species, remembered forever by us in whatever form of energy a species becomes, after it is extinct.
Utopia doesn't have a place because it isn't a place, it is a state of mind, attained by us as a species, a kind of universal education, a mass awareness, of truth, after we've got rid of the lies that blind us, and enslave us, it seems to me.
The majority of folk alive now, are lucky enough to be witnessing this, we really are at the long awaited end of days, the environment, nature, is forcing our hand now, on what happens next.
So on inflation, we can see that as good or bad, depending on its outcome.
Inflation will force the masses to demand free money.
When the masses demand anything, they get it, one way or another.
Free money will continue to be given, in ever increasing amounts, until money comes to align with energy, money tokens per second, just like energy, Joules per second, from the only actual source of it, the sun, all of it given to us for free, by nature, that we have to accept and use, or succumb to dark forces leading to all kinds of evil.
Seriously, it all adds up.
Creation is good, destruction is bad, it all fits together in the grand plan, which has to exist, and is forming in our heads, all of our heads.
Is wishing to be able to save unlimited money for personal use good or bad?
Not so good if it is unlimited, and left to our own desire, it will, and does acculumulate to something causing harm to others, just by removing it from all others.
That capital is stored energy.
Too much energy stored at any point in any working system is never a good thing, and we can't trust ourselves individually to have individual control of it because the very presence of that stored energy affects the way we think, distorting our ability to be able to discriminate lies from truth.
It really does look biblical, when we connct energy with economy, and see the grand plan.
Inflation, continuous inflation, from the point of view of that which can be bought with capital, is absolutely necessary, and ultimately self regulating.
This is the mechanism which ultimately will force universal charity, and at the same time, remove all ability to amass excess capital.
It is just money coming to align with energy, real, actual physical energy that we use to engineer all things. So money, and the financial system, is moving from something built on lies, to a physical system which can be engineered using the same engineering techniques as we've used to mimic all amazing things in nature.
Why would we need to be able to save, if there is universal availability of free money?
Nature is a system of universal charity.
Our economy is simply coming to align with it, and at the input, supplying the endless free energy to physically power all things, is the sun.
All information obscuring that just looks like lies, after we can see it.
