Without means of formally analysing the system, your thoughts are actually pretty futile, you have no possibility of seeing anything close to the bigger picture.
Sorry if that looks like a gaslighting statement, but it's necessary for all of us to know where we really stand in the bigger picture.
None of us know it all, us humans, we are not capable of being able to completely analyse the whole system. But there are formal methods, and new machines that help understand more of the parts we need to know.
With all respect, you don't seem to be in possesion of any of that training or exoerience, but you appear to be under the impression your thoughts have higher value than average, even over the thoughts of folk who do have formal systems Engineering and analysis skills.
As someone with that training, who has been working on this global energy problem, and writing about it, for now seven years and counting, at own expense, I can tell you the fundamental flaw I see in your reasoning, which has to give you a very distorted view of where we are really at.
You don't appear to see it as a physical energy problem, you appear to see it as a people problem, which logically pens you into some implicit assumptions, masking a fundamental conflict of interest, which is outside your perception.
This is nothing to be ashamed of, or feel insulted about, the vast bulk of us humans have exactly the same conflict of interest, me included.
But it's something we have to get sorted out, otherwise we are toast, I can't say that strongly enough.
The problem at the root of the physical energy problem, which is at the root source of what generates C02, and all the other multiplier symptoms, is profit.
You live by profit, I live by profit, we all do, because as yet we see no sustainable alternative.
Profit is an energy con, a lie, that we do to obtain energy, in a scenario of all energy being scarcified, ironically by the practice of profit, which always has to lead to energy slavery and colonialism, which we are practicing, mostly without realising it.
With some technical education we can see how to put the latest technology of solar energy collection and hydrogen generation to use to solve the entire problem, it is a very workable, fully sustainable system, which is actually the natural outcome, enabling and empowering us all bar none, to move to a truly creative mode for the first time in known history.
In fact, by comparing with the life cycles of other creatures we might see it's a kind of birth of the species, like anything born, it's just us transitioning away from dependence on the energy of our mother host, our planet, to the energy of the environment of the planet, the sun, every living thing does it to become an adult, every plant in particular does it when it first forms leaves, why would humanity be any different?
Anyhow, the real danger we face is by not knowing the truth, that profit is the underlying problem with economy, artificially enforcing scarcity, that will downsize us, and has already started with genocide in some parts of the world.
The only way round that, needed to retain as much of humanity as we can, to do the creative repair work needed to repair the planet damaged by our destructive mode to date, is to immediately break the scarcity.
This is the key to empowering and incentivising us all to start doing the right thing, building up our creative mode.
We never actually had this before, what we might have thought was creation was actually only ever colonialism, it's mathematically and physically impossible to get net creation from energy extracted from the planet, it can only be done using the energy of the sun, and the reason we have destruction, and planetary temperature rise, is because at the root of it, destruction is temperature rise by physical definition.
We pretend a creative world but it never was, at least our part in it, at least until now.
The key to breaking the scarcity is issue of solar indexed stimulus.
I write a lot more about it in other stories and responses, always busy, even though you might not see much of it, it's 400+ stories, 10,000+ replies, mostly buried by algos which are designined to optimise profit, not destroy it.
This inhibits knowledge and learning, it seems to me, again another feature of the self perpetuating, fatal system.
Que Sera.
