With respect dude, you show only a story from a particular viewpoint, illustrating it as many ways as you can, from that single viewpoint, which is your opinion that the world is ending, and will end, according to the way you might wish, but the curve you show is not an s-curve. S-curves are s-shaped, indicating adoption of something, or a move away from something else, they show a transition from state a to state b, whereas the curve you've shown looks like 2 s-curves, a to b then back to a, that might be interpreted as showing firstly the adoption of life, followed by the immediate adoption of death again.
It could even end up being true if we believed you, it would be magic triumphing over common sense, but tragic, because this would be like anything in process of being born, dying at birth.
A chicken failing to hatch from an egg, a human baby strangling itself by umbilical cord at birth, or a plant failing to use the new energy received from the sun by its leaves, all come to mind.
The case of the plant seems most relevant to us.
We just formed our first leaves, by the solar PV installations all over the planet but the energy from those is not propagated to all humanity because we are failing to issue money representing that energy
The energy is received for free so the money representing it has to be issued for free.
Then you might draw the curves differently.
To be correct, they would need to be reflections of one another, happening simultaneously. One would chart negative energy adoption and the other would chart positive energy adoption.
When push comes to shove, we are much more likely to switch to the other kind of energy readily available, the much greater energy of the environment of our mother host, than just stop breathing, or worse, consciously stop ourselves from breathing.
