Why would it not be genuinely more intelligent than us, therefore more capable of looking after itself, and us, than we are?
Truth is we are not capable of acting as responsible custodians of our planet, and we are highly destructive of even our own species, this is obvious.
So I don't have any problem with Ai, it could not do a worse job than we have done, and currently are on course to destroy our planet much quicker than most of us seem to realise or care about.
Ai doesn't need to have much soul to have more than humanity, it seems to me.
Where is Elon's head, that he thinks mining lithium for batteries is preferable to just using fuel cells and hydrogen?
Profit, is what drives him, and most of humanity, and this is not clever, not clever at all, in fact nothing could be worse.
Ai will either be supremely intelligent, or profit driven.
If it is profit driven, nothing lost, we are screwed anyway, because we are profit driven.
If it is more intelligent than that, then maybe it will educate us enough to stop us continuing to destroy everything we know.
