Why try to create a false association between "Green" technologies and rare Earth materials?
The essential components of completely pollution free Energy; Solar Panels and reversible Hydrogen Fuel cells contain no rare Earth elements. Copper is not particularly rare, and easily re-purposed.
To me it looks like there is a drive by those opposed to clean energy, to try to smear it, by trying to create a false association with rare Earth elements.
