Why divide the concepts of systems and humanity?
Each human is a system. You yourself are a system. A plant is a system.
The economy is a system. ChatGPT is a system. Humanity is a system.
All systems have emergent properties, especially where all agents within them are similar and act towards a similar goal, like each one minimising its own uncertainty of energy supply, as all living things do per the free energy principal, the collective emergent property then is much greater than any individual, or even the sum of the collective of individuals because it obeys Metcalfe's law; the power of it goes up by the square of the number of members.
This is all systems theory Ray, you throw all of this out, if you throw out systems.
Where do we divide technology and humanity? Are plants not technology that we've always struggled to mimic? What even is creation, if we don't know what technology is?
The fact is we have to create our way out of a problem of destruction. The increased temperature is a direct measure of increased entropy, and its redlining, right now.
We have the same kind of debt to pay back as a species, as a plant does when it first forms leaves.
That is the nature we have to emulate, and we will, using technology, but not technology for profit.
In fact I use technology to show profit is the problem, the fundamental energy lie at the root of all the lies, all the damage, all the increase of entropy, all the temperature rise.
We need technology, specifically formal systems engineering technology, to figure out what is wrong systemically, with what we have been doing, and the answer is we have to stop the for-profit system, to move from the energy of the planet, to the energy of the sun.

At the end of the day, its physics we need to obey, the systemic physics of nature, can't get around that.
