What you’ve said here makes some sense, but, as an electrical engineer I would urge to think more in terms of energy flowing, than in energy stored. Energy only creates value when it is moving.

In electrical circuits, capacitors are only needed to smooth out ripples in flow, the energy stored at any time can be just enough, or thousands of times enough, it makes no difference to the functionality of the circuit.

Bitcoin seems to be key to finally plugging our economy into the energy of the sun, this is something actually happening, yet to be formally adjusted for in the world economy.

Bitcoin sensibly expresses in terms of energy flow, 1MW per bitcoin.

If we compare the world economy with an electrical circuit, we’ve never really seen it switched on, and yet all of the infrastructure exists to just close all the switches and watch the magic happen.

No-one will do that, whilst we are obsessed with packing energy (money) into storage.
