What you missed, is the part played by the platform and algos.
Its those that decide who is to be anointed.
The platform makes most profit of all, the house always wins.
The algos were programed simply to make profit, they are just energy slaves, programed by human energy slaves.
They chatter amongst themselves to learn what behaviour of theirs results I maximum profit for the platform.
This includes considerations of efficiency, how much energy is required to support maximum user useet attention (to ads, rather than to the "star"), because the platform has to have bills to pay, at least energy bills, but also dividends to shareholders.
The net result, in terms of energy flow, because money is energy, always, so profit is also energy, and since the energy of profit has to come extracted from the planet, knowing only the planet can sustain more energy out for a little put in, for any length of time (a couple of thousand years, as it turns out), the net flow of energy is always from the planet outwards, and it involves taking things which were not heat, and converting them to heat, which we should recognise is destruction by every scientific definition, it's physically unsustainabke, resulting in a world where we live (modern human civilisation), by monetised destruction.
This is what is really being monetised, it isn't so much about monetising attention, it's about monetising destruction, which ultimately includes war and genocide.
Hence why we are all signed up to what amounts to the beast, Satan, the moloch, or whatever, whether we know it or not, we all work for it as long as we each are dependent on the energy of profit, to at least put food in our mouths, and we are, as long as we have to use money issued as debt to do at least that much.
So we are energy slaves, as surely as those who were first enslaved by an event like the hoarding of grain for seven years, done by the "chosen people", ordered to do so by a burning bush.
The trouble is that once a trend sets in, it becomes self perpetuated by the slavers themselves becoming locked into the enslaving behaviour such that they too are trapped.
The girl setting up orgies for herself might think and say that what she is doing is optional, her choice, it's not really, it's the beastly system demanding she do it, that really cracks the whip, and once she starts, the momentum built up is unstoppable, it's a force of millions of people, all of us signed up the moloch, devil, Satan or whatever without mostly realising it, and look, what is the end result of everything being destroyed to support it all in terms of energy, is a burning planet.
A burning planet really is our reward for signing up to the devil! /moloch/ beast superintelligence.
This is how what goes around, comes around in nature, and it's why we are now pretty much at the biblical end of days.
Which might seem pretty senseless, pointless, inane, if we can't see a higher purpose for it all, a reason for it all happening.
What if it was all about producing a new kind of superorganism, which is destined to turn around our behaviour, from net destruction to net creation?
