What you described about your experience of Kurzwell's writing is not far away from my own experience with yours Indi. When you first appeared in Medium I loved your message, I could see no wrong in it, you generally were on the nail, it was all good solid positive logic, and the way you write is very catchy, I could not praise you enough. I even told you so on several occasions.

But since then you got associated with what looks to me like professional, corporate appointed doomers, including "B", "The honest sorceror", who I am proud to say actually banned me when I accused them of this. I've watched as what you write about turned from positive logic, to I am sorry to say, negative whingeing drivel, I struggle to get through any of your stories now, they are illogical and unfounded, and incredibly negative, in my own opinion.

Kurzwell getting things wrong proves nothing, but you write it as if it is proof of your message.

Dooming, logically has an illogical, emotional end. Doing it effectively like you and a few others are, is a self fulfilling prophecy. If there really are people lighting forest fires to add to the natural burning, which technical people like me have been predicting will happen, just by studying the system, those poor misinformed people are doing it with exactly your illogical negative mindset, they themselves have become mindless drones of a very negative profit driven system, which is the thing that appears intent on ending us. You work for it with this drivel Indi, whether you know it yet or not, imho.
