What is it that makes us want to run away from fixing the planet here at home?

There is no way anyone will be spiritually happy, as long as we keep destroying our planet for nothing. No amount of dreaming of flying away can change that.

The irony is that there will be no intergalactic space travel or even trips to the moon, given we struggle now to keep the doors on aircraft in flight, after losing space shuttles, manned moon flights, and supersonic commercial flights in the last fifty years.

Fifty years before that we were on horses and carts.

If nothing changes we'll lose it all, even basic flights and maybe even food chains,

But it could change if folk could stop dreaming long enough to analyse the problem and confirm there would / will be no problem, after we disconnect our economy from the energy of Earth destruction, and conect it instead to the energy of Earth creation, the sun.

how far does the misery of the dying for-profit system need to go, to communicate to you that aerospace is on the decline? It's tracking availability of energy, as is profitability, and temperature is tracking that inversely, with the red line of burning now being reached.

What we should all be thinking about, positively, because it would be easy beat if we all thought about it enough, is how to break the profit monster.

Then we'll really be happy, whilst all the dreams get the funding needed to be made reality.
