What a waste of time, effort, and... energy. Your post looks a little like a cry for help, by an industry dying before it even got started.
The problem at its heart is extraction of energy from Earth. This causes temperature rise by E=MC squared alone, no need to spend time or effort talking about CO2.
Stop the extraction and the generation of CO2 is stopped.
The only way to do that is to use the energy of the sun.
Notice the effect of that on temperature is the reverse of the effect of extracting energy from Earth.
Instead of converting materials and non heat energies of Earth to heat, we are converting the energy that would otherwise become heat from the sun, to things other than heat, including hydrogen which functionally replaces fossil fuels, with none of the pollution or CO2.
I hope the CO2 lobby will get your/their heads around this before too much more damage is done.
The market for CO2 is all about profit, itself entirely dependent on energy by extraction, every KWhr of which now has to be multiplied by occurrence of forest fires.
We simply can't continue using extracted energy, nor therefore further business for profit.
Notice Ai is hoovering up all for profit jobs and industry, giving it for free, and notice Ai, at least the ChatGPT flavor of it, is solar powered.
Doesn't that tell you something?
