I was researching also the same subject for a while, until it became apparent we were too early for it, and everything it logically leads to (A live virtual digital twin of the world, viewable and interactable with anywhere as mixed reality) to have real value, as yet.

My PhD candidate project was named “The possibilities of First Person View interactions between Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and the Users of Vitual Worlds”.

Of course it can make profit, but that doesn’t mean adding value.

For that, we need the world including us, first to be solar powered.
