Well said. I hope this message will be popular in Medium, because this is the narrative we should all have. Personally I think we miss the mark by missing the energy angle, we are using massive amounts of the energy of the planet by removing fossil fuels and using it to kill one another, its a double whammy on energy that leads to extinction, very soon now, as previous predictions didn't anticipate a war of this scale happening.
They are such idiots, these oligarchs on all sides, and everyone foolish enough to be fooled by them, it seems to me, it is now existential, we can't let it play out to conclusion because the conclusion is self annihilation, very soon, as in within a year or two.
