Well done on your first article, I hope you will follow up with many more, even if some don't entirely agree with you, and even if we don't agree ourelves with our own earlier stories (learning some things as we go along is good) everyone learns through dialog, or they should.
Something I've learned in more than 2000 intetactions, and now writing my 219th story, pretty much all relevant to environment, is that there is a force, even a monster, which not only drives the climate problem, but also pretty much all human misery.
That is profit, most of us practice it from a very young age, and it is what all of life, and conventional education conditions us to do.
Now, if we are managing to break that conditioning, as we have to, we start to see through the illusion; new solutions become apparent that we didn't see before.
We know when we are breaking the conditioning when we start to remember memories of questions asked when we were much younger, in my case more than fifty years younger.
"But why do I need to pay for these sweets, why doesn't that shopkeeper just give them to me, like my granny does?"
Really basic questions, but perfectly logical when we are not conditioned.
What is special about Greta, and folk like her, maybe you also, is that they / you have managed to dodge that conditioning.
But governments, and all who form them, have not.
In fact we can see the main reason most individuals do government functions is just for personal profit.
Their profit is affected by advrse publicity, even that of Greta, so they do take notice, when millions of potential voters are protesting.
That is why I would never expect any government to do what needs to be done without a real push, by an awful lot of people.
Greta, and you, and all others who feel strongly about it, need to present a united front, and carry on doing as Greta is doing, drawing attention to the problem, I would say, otherwise no-one will even look, honestly.

I wish you all the best of luck, however you decide.
