Very well written and pointed out. It isn't just in the US but throughout the entirety of Europe also, especially, ironically, Germany. Everywhere allied by NATO, actually.

I more than ever believe it is all down to the need for all individuals to make profit to survive.
From an energy point of view, this is the thing now unsustainable, because it is exclusively fueled by energy extracted from Earth.
Historically it resulted in colonialism.
Now it is eating itself, it seems everything has to end.
But there is a way out, by monetising the free Joules of energy coming from the sun, so as to encourage everyone to look up, rather than down, for our source of energy.
The money issuers could change this overnight, but still they don't.
Instead they encourage all the doomerism and Nazism, maybe thinking they will be immune from the purge they think will happen, profiting from all sides.
But they forget the planet is dying, because the sources from which energy can be extracted are running low.
When will they see sense?
Will they ever?
