Very true, thanks for posting Mike.

Although I've gone through the solar powered hydrogen economy which nature seems to be dictating to us, by way of many, many messages, with a fine toothed comb of logic, I've noticed a lot of parallels with some of the teachings of various religions. I don't know enough about buddhism yet, to see where it might rhyme, but I dont think we can criticise one religion more than any others (Budhism also has its share of fascists, as we've seen in Burma), I think they are all equally relevant, and equally flawed.

To me we are trying to interpret things literally which made sense in the world as it was, but don't make much literal sense in the world as it is now. I personally believe that there really were, and probably still are beings higher on the evolutionary scale than us, who produced religions, intended for us as fledgling species of their creation, to try to ensure our longevity. How did they know the long term problems the animal emotion of greed would cause, especially when we enhance it with our human logic?

That seems to be a common theme in religions, that we should try to always look after the greater good, rather than just our own, otherwise things come to an end, before we are even born as a successful species, united.

The difference between an adult species, and one which has not been born yet might be its dependence on the energy of its mother planet, as we humans so far have been, like a chicken in an egg is on its yolk, and like a human baby in a womb is on its placenta, and like the new shoot of a tree is on the energy of its planet, before it forms leaves.

The shoot is the most interesting to me, as it is the one that demonstrates how to use the energy of the sun, distributing that to all of nature, after it took out a small overdraft of energy from the Earth, to get to the point it formed leaves.

Our overdraft is things like oil, and coal, and lately nuclear. Isn't it surprising they seem to have all been conveniently put there for us?

Right now, humanity is forming its first leaves by way of solar farms all over Earth.

What needs to happen next, is for money representing that solar energy in process of being received, tens of GigaJoules of it per second in every developed country, to be issued to all people in the form of money, thus maximising the value of the money.

Until then, we will see money continue to devalue, until it becomes next to worthless, since it is increasingly becoming less representative of the most valuable product we can imagine, scaling up in the background, solar energy.

More religiously, we might say mother nature is the grand authority, her currency is energy, the only issuer and enforcer of it is the sun, it is currently kicking our ass and devaluing our currency for not valuing it the way it was given, for free, with no labor of extraction needed, therefore at no cost, not even pollution, all we needed was the interface, and we are busy building that now, because we have to.

But sooner or later, massive free money has to be issued, to reflect massive amounts of Joules from solar coming in, and being put to use by us.
