Very interesting to know the gene research you mentioned, would be good to have links.

On the references of the Q'ran and bible to sodom and gomorrah, it would be very easy to get cause mixed up with symptom, we se this all the time now, with CO2 being seen as the source of global warming, when the actual mathematical source is usage of any energy extracted from the planet.

We've moved now to enjoying many forms of sex which were identified as characterising sodom and gomorra (Forgive my spelling if incorrect), and this is synonymous with us moving on to more luxurious, more enjoyable life, but this life has come at cost to the poorer places and poorer people, and is enabled by our abuse of the planet using the energy con / energy crime of stealing energy from the planet.

The energy crime enabling this life to date, is maybe the crime identified in the biblical texts, it might be this they were trying to warn about, and it might be this that needs to be fixed, before it causes a pogrom.

They obviously didn't fix it then, even although it looks like the Egyptians / Amalek might have had solar powered technology which would have been capable of enabling them to have a luxurious existence at no cost to any other civilisation, there is obviously a tendency for some to impose energy slavery on everyone else. Maybe this is what could have been at the root of the pogrom, who knows.

It's interesting to me that the amount of solar panels we seen on the roofs of the buildings being blown up in Palestine look far greater than we see on buildings elsewere, there were oceans of them on the roofs of larger buildings, and the fact that Israel is in the news now complaining of economic difficulties, as a result of them losing the Palestinian workforce. We know also that Israel did not allow Gaza to have its own powerstations, they insisted on rationing, and charging for the utilities energy supplied to Palestine. But they couldn't stop solar panels being smuggled in, and this would have removed a lot of the dependence of the palestinians from the energy supplied by Israel, removing the need for them to keep crossing the turnstiles into Israel, to do the work needed to make the money needed, to pay their energy bills. Get it?

It was energy slavery, and it must have been frustrating for the Iraelis to realise their hold over the palestinians was slipping, hence maybe a driver for them cracking, deliberately allowing Oct 7 to become a trigger for their own pogrom, on the people they saw were no longer valuable to them.

The energy slavery aspect is another possible alternative to the obviously stupid and incorrect interpretation that gay folk need to be killed or even victimised, we are all beautiful humans, with our own preferences.

Mine might be different from yours, but they are all valid, as maybe evidenced by the research you quote.

Btw, I am with Max's view here, he is a very pragmatic guy. To me your view definitely does border on Islamaphobia, I think you could benefit maybe from falling in love with someone from that part of the world, and getting their view, it is probably very different from what you think.
