Very good observation, I never thought of it like that before. But notice it was what the Zionists wanted, it was not something forced on them.
Anyhow I agree completely my sympathies are with the oppressed, I remember when Mandela first identified the Apartheid in Palestine, it shocked a few people. He said this in response to folk congratulating him for identifying, and getting rid of Apartheid, he responded with something to the effect that it isn't finished yet, look, it's still going on over there.
That was in the days of Arafat, the main Palestinian representative, who eventually died under house arrest, I remember there was some exchange between he and Mandela.
I think this has to be sorted as part of the solution to the global energy problem, I believe they are all related by the way we mishandle energy.
