Very cool story, thanks for posting. In some industries we've seen this for years, but it looks like now they have bigger fish to fry, with the world economy tanking due to a fundamental energy problem, now they need to adapt to distributed, donated energy, which can't be had by promises to pay, rather than centralised extracted energy, extracted by promises to pay, which changes everything, companies not offering truly valuable products and services in that scenario are finding their existence being squeezed.
Amazon will probably be just fine :)
