Very cool deep dive into oceanography Ricky, thanks for that. I like the characterisation of it being an engine too, me being an engineer, I get it.

But you also covered a lot of useful stuff I didn't know before, much appreciated.

Seeing how nature works has to be key to seeing how we might become a photosynthetic engine ourselves, like the engine of plants, an engine which adds to the engine of plants, and enhances its creative function, with the potential and actually inevitability of undoing most of the damage we did in history using fossil fuels.

Something relevant seems to me to be what happened during covid, when massive stimulus was issued.

Oil prices went negative, the only time ever, and the oceans showed a spike of recovery in fish stocks, and coral regrowth. Until then most of science thought the damage was irreversible. But we saw there the key how to reverse the trend of destruction.

It fitted perfectly after we established that many hundreds of billions of dollars worth of economic product has been created since around 2005, when economic product from solar started to push back utilities energy consumption, now the latter is on the decline, but as you point out, the countries still profiting most from oil are now creating a sales pitch for it, surely they see the writing on the wall.

Systemically it makes perfect sense that money has to become to us like the nutrients in plants, we have to see it as a means of energy transport, like nutrients, we have to issue it in response to the energy recieved by our solar collection facilities in all places, instead of creating it as debt, which is a requisition to make energy profit from the planet, because energy profit is what all profit is, since money is energy, always physically, and the only thing that can provide more energy out in response to a little put in as work, is the planet. This goes for all manner of energy taken from the planet, rather than from the sun, and whilst we are doing it, cutting down all the things that put the sun to use as things other than heat, we are letting more and more of the energy of the sun go to heat, its a no-brainer double whammy of temperature impulse.

Anyhow, great to see you doing this work of examining all the system of nature, it is really needed, to make sure we know how to integrate with it. More power to your elbow!
