Very cool article.

I only ever paid just enough attention to the idea of nihilism to establish for myself that it isn’t good, rather it seems some kind of inane argument to try to absolve oneself of the responsibility to be “Good”.

Ignoring that we do have a higher purpose, to contribute something positive towards the value of our species, seems to me to be the one fundamental true crime of life, underpinning every other decision we make.

Your story by itself might not affect the thinking of many people. I think you already know that.

But it is a clear indication of your concern (Besides your obvious intellect), it is a real positive contribution to humanity, worthy of one day being stamped in stone.

Hopefully not in an epitaph of our species!
