Utilities electricity would be just fine if it was not supplied at profit. But since it is, and has to be as stands, it has to come by energy extraction, which is the thing physically unsustainable.
Convert the money you pay for utilities electiricity bills, assuming you still have those (ie you are not yet yourself energy independent by being solar powered), at market rates per KWhr.
Compare with what you got supplied as kWhrs in electricity, and you'll find you paid more in the form of money, than they gave to you as electricity.
The net flow of energy is from you to them, not the other way round.
This is what utilities energy supply at profit does to all people, it steals energy from us, its an energy con.
When you are ripped off like this, you have to find a way to do the same trick on somebody else, you have to somehow exchange less energy in the form of work, for example, to get more in return as money. Whoever you robbed of energy like this then has to do to someone else, and yada yada, Paul robs Peter all the way back to the planet, which is the only thing that can consistently deliver more energy out in return for a little put in.
But it can only do it for a finite period of time, which turns out to be a couple of thousand years - we are at the end of it.
Now, we have to start taking the energy from the sun for real, monetising it, to transmit it to everyone needing it. Some of that energy might also go via electricity. In no circumstance can we charge profit for it, because when that is done, if forces more energy to be extracted from the planet.
So electricity supply by utilities energy supply companies is all fine, provided it comes only from solar, and provided no profit is charged for it. Otherwise the difference between what is supplied, and what is demanded for it, has to come extracted from the planet.
Let's say the change to solar indexed stimulus takes place, as nature appears to be forcing, via devaluation of all money which does not truly represent solar energy.
On one hand you have utilities energy suppliers who themselves are all in receipt of solar indexed stimulus.
On the other you have people, with the same prospects of investing their stimulus in their own energy infrastructure on a domestic and community basis, so as to remove their need to continue paying for electricity from human suppliers. It won't be long before all realise they can store stupendous amounts of energy in hydrogen, whilst increasing the solar stipend, with also the possibility of selling it at KWhr rates of excange, thus converting it to even more revenue. Will utilities energy companies choose to go to the trouble of supplying people with non profit energy, rather than they too just scale up hydrogen production and get more revenue?
I doubt it.
The only reason you might choose not to see these truths, even going to the effort made by Mr Barnard, after being shown the limitations of existing battery technology for aerospace, it seems to me is either you are invested in the old for profit system, or you are employees of one of the major players in it, ie oil companies and banks.
It's interesting you still haven't offered any explanation why try to nobble hydrogen, or even bother denying it, and I asked three times.
