Try switching your tactical head to the other side for a second, and ask yourself, if you were fighting an opponent who you had been "Holding back on", but who seems to be gaining in strength, at what point do you stop holding back? At what point do you go all out, nothing barred, as necessary to make sure they never get a chance to actually win, given they want you dead, and given even their propensity to genocide, they want your children, and your children's children dead too?
