True, this is destruction, and we don't want more energy to do more of that, but energy that we could do the opposite with would be pretty cool, literally, Actually we already have it - the energy of the sun.

A species is a creation, it is the trapping of free energy into all the genetic structures and cellular materials that we know as life - it can all be seen as creation of binary information, it equates to at least 0.69 x Boltzman's constant in degrees C per bit created, this is reduction of heat by definition when it is done, and increase of heat by definitioin when it reversed, ie when destruction is done.

This looks like tiny numbers when done by energy extracted from the planet, because we liberate far more energy to heat just by doing the work of extraction, but when no work of extraction is done, this activity alone is creation.

When we do it by the energy of the sun, the potential heat energy of the energy we use can never exceed what it would have been if we didn't use it, if done by computers for example, what remains is creation, and net temperature reduction.
