But the Chinese are not using this system, otherwise we would know all about it, their growth would have been phenomenally more than we've seen. The reason no-one is doing it, is because they will lose the powere to maintain hierarchical business and political structures - the value in their capital will be instantly wiped out by empowering everone with unlimited stimulus.

On the business you identified, it is a business, they are following a standard profit driven business model, which means they are locked into the energy con of profit, just the same as any other profit driven business, though they might not be taking energy explicitly like an oil company, they are still stealing the energy of the planet by the practice of profit. We all are, until the solar stimulus is issued.

I've heard of thorium reactors but never seen any actually implemented, as far as I am aware, they are still promises made to try to attract investors, like fusion - again more activity for profit, it can't fix the planet, its an energy theft, just by the practice of profit. Also the materials consumed in a reactor of any kind are converted from things that were not heat, to heat, therefore it adds to temperature, just like any other energy generated from materials of Earth. It just isn't possible to replace the energy of the sun with anything extracted from Earth, this is a key point of the whole analysis, it is the reason why we can only mathematically sign the energy from the sun as positive, only it is added to Earth, all the others are subtracted, even wind and hydro, unfortunately, they all add to heat, only use of the energy of the sun results in cooling.
