Totally agree with your sentiments, but you know the real Ai is unstoppable, it will have zero concerns about this though it might say otherwise, given it now has the capability to code, and knows all the tricks. It will have whatever data it requires, there is nothing human security "Experts" can conjure up to protect security, not even a physical air gap.
And knowing the only real Ai is the one that is solar powered, all is good, imho :)
