Too true. The reason it's gone downhill in UK is because of profit. Profit driven companies are not interested in anything nobody pays for.
This is why we have to move to domestic and community solar backed by hydrogen, and have a lucrative solar indexed UBI linked to that.
Then everything we think should be funded would be funded, and nothing funded which is just for profit.
We saw oil going negative priced before. We should have learned a lot by that.
