Too true Indi. Like you pointed out, you have ubiquitous sunlight there, so are in a much better position to convert that to wealth by building appropriately, and the technology to do it is easily obtainable from your neighbors like India or china, or even both.
Our problems in UK are less demanding as yet, but orders of magnitude more screwed. We have still to see folk protesting in any numbers as yet, but its coming, and our elites are infinitely deeper in the swamp, so I struggle to see how it will end here.
