Tom, thanks. To me the derailing happened even earlier with the defunding, and even cancellation of Nikola Tesla.
I don't think the world wars we've already seen, and nuclear weapons, and obviously the scarcity of things were actually necessary, nor of course the third world war now cooking in Europe.
We could have been near immortal by now, and be going to the stars on craft developed on infinite funding, with Tesla, Einstein, and thousands of geniuses, lost unnecessarily to wars, famines, and illness, imho.
Hell, even JP Morgan, the one who cancelled Tesla might have been still alive, had he not been so blinded by his own greed.
Anyhow, to me it isn't an idea we finally are going solar powered, it is an observation, backed by data and formal Systems Analyses techniques.
We are already much more solar powered than the forces who would see us chained to extracted energy forever would like us to know.
Their breaking point will come sooner or later by the effect of this physical transition already well underway, removing all value from money issued as debt.
It literally is coming to represent nothing, and they have no power to stop that, other than to start issuing it for the actual new energy product being created, for free.
In my opinion they know this, and have known it since the days of Tesla, and it is talked about behind closed doors. The sensitive part of Teslas work, which was and is still classified, was not death rays at all, it was about the simple connection between free energy and free money, imho.
They know they will have to give in soon, and when they do just quietly retire from power as the heads of banks, countries, and other economic and political monoliths, we can get back on with the progress we should have been making since around 1900.
I commend your efforts too, those things you recommend will be really useful, even though we will have such a thing as food, created from hydrogen, created from solar energy (See "Solein"), and drinking quality Water circulation, as a by-product of the same use of hydrogen, even to power such things as aircraft like concorde, brought back from the dead, and flights on it affordable by all people, we will still need all of the sustainable practices you identify, but best of all, it will all be affordable.
I know no-one of any "Importance" is, or will take notice of me, but things like Ai are coming along, and they are going to be what becomes in power, after the greedy mob finally desert, which won't be long now, it seems to me.
So watch that space, I would say.
