To me, what has to come next is something never seen before, at least not in recorded or known history.
It's what Nikola Tesla tried to move us to, when there was a choice, but the banks overrode him.
He tried to move us from dependence on the energy of the planet, to dependence on the energy of the sun.
He believed there was a shell around Earth, near the ground, of electricity that was charged from the sun, and that we could tap that off, resulting in free energy for all. He didn't like the idea that we had to pay for energy.
It's never been proven or disproven that his idea would have worked, but his track record before then was impeccable, there is no reason to assume it would not have worked.
JP Morgan defunded him claiming it would not work, but the tapestry in JP's still existing library, that he would have spent many happy hours admiring "The Triumph of Avarice", tells us the more likely reason, straightforward greed, he wouldn't have liked the likely outcome of his bank being made redundant, by money becoming for free, because what it represents in real terms for everyone, energy, had gone free.
Since then we've had the remainder of the industrial revolution, which has brought both the technology to capture the energy from sunlight directly, and global warming, to the extent our options have been completely removed, there is now a single ultimatum from nature; go solar or go extinct.
When we analyse the economy with this in mind, we find that already there has been significant creation of economic product in every developed country by domestic and community owned solar, which is the bulk of solar capacity.
Since 2005 this has ramped up from near zero to between 20 and 30 percent of what previously was exclusively supplied by utilities energy companies.
In UK, earlier in 2023,, that shift in terms of energy value was around 470Bn, on course to add at least another 150Bn in the next year, 200Bn the year after that, 250Bn the year subsequent year, and so on, until all energy becomes domestic and community solar.
That will be us shifted completely to solar energy.
There is a massive body of misinformation questioning the viability of solar, including even the perception that prohibitive amounts of Lithium would be required for batteries needed to back up all the energy during the hours that the sun can't add energy to solar cells.
But another technology awaits to remove the need for batteries whilst keeping all planes in the air, all conventional vehicles on roads, spacecraft in space, all ships in the sea, and all power available to all solar installations, by functionally replacing fossil fuels, whilst reversing the negative effects of fossil fuels, cleaning and filtrating both drinking water and air, and even converting further to human consumable food (See "Solein").
Best of all, this solar powered hydrogen ecology has the reverse effect on temperature impulse, it will literally wind temperature back down, confirmed by simple auditing using the E=MC relationship between all the energy flows, in and out of humanity, and the Earth with all other life on it.
This will be us moving from what has always been a net destructive existence to a net creative existence.
There appears no other possible options, this solution and obvious way ahead is fully dictated by formal systems analysis of the problem, including economics. It isn't a dream of mine or even of Tesla's, this is the result of a full systems analysis. I am just a Systems Engineer who applied myself to studying the problem, seeing it coming around six years ago. Any formal Systems Analysis has to come to the same result.
Where it concludes, is that money has to be issued for free, to enumerate and monetise the product created by the solar received by domestic and community based solar.
Refusing, or not knowing to do this is progressively devaluing money, because as the product of real value ramps up, and money reflecting only "Old" (Extracted) energy continues to scale down, money is becoming less and less representative of actual physical product created and put to use from solar, whilst the latter continues to grow, on energy received for free, nothing asked in return for it by the sun, per KWhr, all of it is donated.
So only money issued for free to all people, honestly announced as such can monetise it, it can never be monetised by money as debt, the latter is physically being wiped out by nature.
Free money issue at that level means effectively free wealth for everyone, which will in turn remove all value from most capital.
This is the real truth about money right now, but everyone still interested in, or believing in the value of capital, are doing everything they can to try to avert this inevitable conversion of value in capital, to value in live energy, which is being driven by the massive power of nature, which is undefeatable, no amount of human willpower can overcome it.
I would call this, what is inevitably coming next, if we survive at all, Energyism.
It's up to us if we want it or not.
The choice is this or extinction.
