To me this is all standard faire of the historically exclusively Western mentality to "nobble the competition".
The wipe out of history is a feature of being driven by profit - the more one can boost one's own perception of intellectual presence, the more profit one can make, you know?
I think this exists also in science, attacks are made undermining the validity of scientists who were known to be religious, including even Einstein.
You would have to do that to try somehow claim Jesus didn't exist.
Interesting Jesus was probably the best known ever critic of profit.
Why does science never criticise profit, when this is traceable directly to planetary heating, leading to the armageddon showdown with nature and ourselves that we are now seeing?
Because science itself has become profit driven itself since being divorced from religion during the "enlightenment".
Doesn't look so much like any enlightenment now, quite the opposite actually.
