Thanks for posting Mike, in my view you have a knack of summing things up the way they really are, contrary to elite opinion (and probably wishes).

It is true something big is happening, hyperobject big, an inversion of how things were, no less. Personally I have a very positive view of that, things were not that great, though the established view says otherwise.

As always, it comes down to money, I think.

There seems to be a popular idea that money might be the problem. I think absolutely not, it is just an instrument, which lately has been abused. But that abuse has exposed its capability to do good, ironically.

Trump took a bucket of three trillion to start with, equivalent to 10,000 per head in the US population, and poured it over his head, onto all his surrounding family and business mates, they all gulped as much of it as they could, and the remainder spilled onto ordinary folks. That spillage was enough to have ordinary folks trading in the markets, with free money, and we saw some things never seen before.

Oil went negative.

Shares in bankrupt companies with still loved products went into orbit.

The law was even changed to allow that.

Gold and bitcoin prices plunged.

Traditional “Whale” investors like Warren Buffet ran for the hills, crying foul.

And the dollar price… went up.

And the environment made a brief spike of recovery.

Now, scarcity is being enforced again, whilst businesses are going mass bankrupt again, the dollar price is going back down, gold, bitcoin, and oil are back on the rise.

But we saw what happened.

People were not trading in the markets, they were donating, to the things they saw as important, with free money. They didn’t care if they lost it, it was free.

Just for that short time, we saw real democracy, and a real alternative, donation-based economy in action, with people empowered to make the world the way they wanted it to be, a much better world.

And now we are getting hungry, and homeless, by the millions.

It is absolutely for sure the elite are going to have to concede this point very soon. There is no other future. Enforced scarcity, and its dependent soulmate; profit, are on the last run.

To me, this is the most exciting development.

It is no longer valid, to consider the assets of the world in terms of a fixed amount of currency, as if it was an isolated closed box, in which the object of all human activity is to play a zero-sum game.

It never was, really.

The currency base by rights has to expand every day, to reflect the value added to us and our planet every day, by the sun.

like the universe, that value is ever expanding.

That is what we’ve had wrong, all along, and that is the reason money has acted so strangely, favouring those who loved to play the zero-sum game, the ever-decreasing “Winners”.

It seems very close now, with the realisation that the energy of the sun is the currency of nature, it is directly interchangeable with human currencies, and it comes to us for free.

Now, we have to assign our human debt to the real creditor, our planet, from which we have stolen energy given to it for free, by the sun, for our entire industrial history.

There is only one currency which can pay that IOU back down; sunlight.

But luckily it comes to us for free.

With profit gone, the industry and innovation seen previously is nothing to what we will see next, towards implementing world scale solar power, and then onto the stars, I believe.
