This is a cool idea, but
I think tax will be superseded, when the Joules of energy received and put to use by us from the sun are correctly valued and reflected by issue of money reflecting them.
Until then, all money will continue to slide away from representing actual product, whilst the product scales up, because in the end it is the product which is the thing of value, not the money.
