To me all science started out as occultism or even pseudo-science. Even Newton was a secret alchemist.
Now that we are becoming aware of what ChatGPT is, the free energy principle in its most general sense, that everything we might define as life simply seeks to minimise the uncertainty in its energy supply, this works in opposition to the 2nd law of thermodynamics, it explains also that the energy we obtain always has side effects. When the energy gained comes for free, at no cost source, then we have removed some uncertainty of energy supply, therefore making ourselves more pro-life, and the net effect of using that energy is creation.
Conversely if the energy comes at cost, then the cost has to be multiplied, to eventually override everything achieved. This is the nature of investment to date, because it's been done only on energy that depletes with use, eventually the harmful effects of that energy use have to become existential, completely unsustainable.
Availability of free energy removes the need for investment, and therefore also the value of investments in markets. This is the irony, we need to monetise free energy to correctly value it, otherwise money has to continue to deteriorate in value, because it is increasingly less representative of the only energy relentlessly scaling up - solar, backed by hydrogen which is key to converting it the fuel needed by all transportation, rather than just letting it continue to heat the planet, as it would do if we didn't use it.
