Tim I don’t doubt what you say.

The key problem is the system somehow indicating 100KWh is worth so little.

Physical power, to which we are all entitled for free, courtesy of the sun, is the real thing, money as currently used is the thing no longer real.

It is an indication of how messed up things are, when 100KW, enough physical power to maintain a small datacenter comprising thirty or more standard modern home computers, can somehow be equated with only a minimum wage.

This has a lot to do with why we might think an awful lot of power is needed to power the world, putting it way beyond what anyone might think is possible by solar power, which is the only real source of physical power.

The really simple fact is, there is physically way more than enough solar energy to physically power our world, no matter how power hungry we get as a species, way, way more, but we can’t see it, blinded by money as capital.

The value in capital is the illusion which is forced upon us by the way things have gone until now, but it is an unsustainable energy Ponzi which is crumbling right now.

As you say we need to start getting back to real values.

It will happen, when money becomes aligned with real time physical power, rather than capital.
