Tim I appreciate your thoughts, and agree there is much in the details, that we are yet to see, how they will unfold.
Personally I will feel like we are finally on the mend, when money begins to truly reflect energy, not just stored energy, which is what we've always lived on, but live energy from the sun, flowing through people from top to bottom, like the way all things live from the nutrients of trees, and the way our own body works, transporting oxygen from our lungs to every organ that needs it.
When we do that, there will be far less tendency for wealth to accumulate in various places, like fat.
I've started to see how this can be helped along by creating a Kardashev Engineering specialisation. More folk understanding how it works can never be a bad thing.
Speaking of which, there is a related Kardashev Money story with some numbers, would be cool to have some critcal eyes on it, to spot if I have made any mistakes there.
It currently looks like around $25K per month per person, when full solar power is implemented. Not bad, as a basic income, and I know it sounds crazy, but if actual product added is actually reflected by money issue, then the value of the currency is maximised.
Remember the dollar actually went up when the first 4Tn stimulus was issued? Remember oil went negative priced at that time too? And Warren Buffet et al ran for the hills crying foul, whilst people voted for bankrupt companies they still loved, like Hertz, with their free money, on apps like Robinhood? And we even saw a spike of recovery in the environment?
