Those sources might exist. But I don't know their theory.
But we know this; nothing uses energy without some loss to heat. If this is done with anything which was not already heat, and would never become heat if never used, this is increase of entropy, increase of temperature, and just more destruction.
Hence why we have to recognise only sunlight can be used to create, it isn't possible with any energy extracted from the planet, not even from wind or hydro, or any other phenomena, known or unknown, not even with fusion, unless the source of hydrogen we used to fuel the fusion came from off-planet, then there could be creation, but why not just use the solar energy from the fusion of the sun as its offered, it's surely much easier.
This is the point, we have a perfectly fine way of using solar, it just needs to be rolled out on a domestic and community basis, backed up by hydrogen, monetised by permanent solar indexed stimulus, and we will have much more energy than we could possibly use, hence why stores of hydrogen will build up to replace the thermodynamic heatsink which was fossil fuels, before we used those, whilst still providing enough fuel to keep all aerospace airborne.
